The Association of United Church Educators is continually engaged in conversations with Church Educators in other denominations and ecumenical organizations.

The Committee on Continuing Education with Church Educators, Education and Leadership Ministries Commission, National Council of Churches

This committee consists of representatives from denominational Associations of Educators and a denominational representative from members of the National Council of Christian Churches. The Association of United Church Educators is an active participant in this Committee.

The Association of Presbyterian Church Educators

The Association of Presbyterian Church Educators is an active and holds a large annual event for Church Educators.  APCE is planning an event for February 1-4, 2006, in St. Louis, to which United Church of Christ educators have been invited.  Other denominations are invited as well.  The invitation includes active participation in the planning process as well. The Association of United Church of Educators is a participant in the planning process.

The Association of Christian Church Educators

The Association of United Church Educators has an historic relationship with the Association of Christian Church Educators.  The recent reorganization of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has resulted in changes in staffing for The Association of Christian Church Educators..  ACCE continues to hold periodic events for educators.  Their next event will be in Nashville, Tennessee, January 29-February 1, 2004.
